Jodi Landgaard Honored at Minnesota State 2019 CFO Annual Conference

 

Jodi Landgaard, Vice President of Finance and Facilities at Minnesota West Community & Technical College was recently recognized for outstanding work at the 2019 CFO Annual Conference held at the Minnesota State system office in St. Paul. Landgaard was presented with the Outstanding Service Award.

THE OUTSTANDING SERVICES AWARD
This award recognizes individuals and/or teams that provide outstanding campus service. Bill Maki, interim vice chancellor for finance and facilities of Minnesota State, said, “These honorees are shining examples of individuals that not only lead the financial operations of their institutions, but also provide guidance to their colleagues in what is in the best of interests of student success and in the financial sustainability of their college or university.”
Individuals who were recognized include:
• Jean Hollaar, Minnesota State University Moorhead
• Deb Kerkaert, Southwest Minnesota State University
• Michael Kroening, Minnesota State College Southeast
• Jodi Landgaard, Minnesota West Community and Technical College
• Karen Lester, Minnesota State University Moorhead

Minnesota West Community & Technical College President Dr. Terry Gaalswyk comments, “Over the past two years, Jodi has shepherded strategic conversations through a deliberate, transparent collegial process across our students, campuses and our communities. Evidenced in college-wide consensus which advanced over $1.3 million of strategic investments in FY19 and culminated in a FY20 Facilities Master Plan which was endorsed by our students, the college-community, President’s Advisory Council and Minnesota State; Jodi’s philosophy of student-service drives our resource model. Jodi’s diplomacy and commitment to college-wide engagement assures our students, faculty & staff are well-informed; yielding, trust and respect for her office and her leadership.”
