E3 Energy Conference

The 2015 E3 Conference on Energy Education for Educators was held at six MnSCU campuses including the Jackson Campus of Minnesota West Community & Technical College.
Those in attendance included high school teachers in subject areas of science, agriculture, mathematics, and industrial technology. Teachers who attended the conference received curriculum and lab kits along with 16 hours of continuing educations units. Minnesota West faculty members presented on energy topics including ethanol, powerline, solar, and wind.

The MN Energy Center consists of ten MnSCU colleges working together to provide energy education across the state. Approximately forty academic programs are offered through this group of colleges. These programs are developed and managed in partnership with a wide variety of energy industry businesses and corporations. The entire partnership is focused on preparing the best educated workforce in an effort to build and maintain the energy industries both now and in the future.
