Thooft Places in National SkillsUSA

While attending the SkillsUSA Minnesota State Leadership and Skills Conference in Minneapolis this past spring, Zac Thooft of Arco, MN brought home the gold medal while competing in Industrial Motor Controls.

This past weekend, Zac and Electrical Instructor/SkillsUSA co-advisor, Judy Drown, attended the SkillsUSA National Competition in Louisville, KY. We are pleased to announce that Zac took 3rd place in Industrial Motor Controls.

SkillsUSA is a national organization serving high school and college students and professional members enrolled in training programs in technical, skilled, and service occupations, including health occupations in high schools and college/technical schools.

SkillsUSA has more than 350,000 members annually, organized into 13,000 chapters and 54 state and territorial associations (including the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam and the Virgin Islands).
