Alumna Jennifer King

Jennifer King, alumna and now Senior Manager - Contract Manufacturing for Kellogg Company, talks about why she chose Minnesota West.

"It was close to home and provided a good opportunity to save money on my first two years of college versus a larger university. It also gave me a chance to explore my interests to help identify which major I would choose."

Jennifer recommends Minnesota West because, "The professors and staff at Minnesota West are excellent! I always enjoyed going to class and felt that I received a great education that helped me build the foundation I needed to go on to a 4-year college and complete my bachelor’s degree and my MBA. Minnesota West professors, Terry Rotschafer and Krayton Stenzel, helped me identify with an area of interest in business. I have taken many of the lessons I learned in their classes with me and applied them in my career. The ability to work closely with the administration was also very helpful in shaping my future. Working with people like Dr. Diane Graber was an excellent opportunity for personal growth and helped me set my aspirations for the future."
