REACH Faculty Meet Area Educators

reach faculty meet8/22/16

The REACH program is a collaborative effort between Minnesota West Community & Technical College and area high schools. This partnership offers qualified high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to earn college credit in their high school setting. These courses are often referred to concurrent enrollment courses.

All REACH program courses are taught by a pre-approved, credentialed high school teacher who partners with a college faculty member. Students who successfully complete a REACH program concurrent enrollment course receive high school credit and Minnesota West college credit.

Minnesota West is proud to offer the REACH Program that provides academically strong high school students the opportunity to earn college credits without leaving their high school. The REACH program is accredited through the National Association of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP).

On August 18, Minnesota West, along with their partnering high school teachers, spent the day collaborating and sharing ideas, working on NACEP accreditation standards, and provided our high school partners with the opportunity to work within their college discipline and their peer instructors on the Worthington Campus.

It was a wonderful day of teamwork, building relationships, and creating cohesiveness between everyone. We look forward to further developing our partnerships with the area schools and strengthening educational services not only this year, but in the years to come!
