Thorson Hired as Librarian

Minnesota West is pleased to announce that Kip Thorson has accepted the Librarian position.

Thorson has his master’s degree from The University of Tennessee in Information Science.  He has most recently been a Librarian/Materials Manager, Instructional Materials at the University of Tennessee.  

Dr. Jeff Williamson, Provost at Minnesota West notes, “We are very excited to bring Kip back to the region as our distance learning librarian. He has over 10 years of experience working in higher education and academic settings. His familiarity with the region and mission of the college will help the college continue its dedication to serving the varied educational needs of our diverse populations in affordable, accessible and supportive settings.”
