Minnesota West Veterans Day Events 2019

Minnesota West is proud to honor and remember our Veterans and Service Members.  We have several events planned collegewide.  Please join us as we honor all who have served.  

2019 Veterans Day Events

Canby Campus

Veterans Program in Campus Commons at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 11.  Refreshments will be served.

Granite Falls Campus

Veterans Day Program in Student Commons at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, November 11.  The program will be followed with a meal sponsored by Student Senate at 12:00 p.m.

Jackson Campus

Veterans Day Program in Campus Commons at Noon.  All are invited to attend, a Veterans Day speaker will be on hand along with a video screening.  Refreshments will be served.

Luverne Center

Students are invited and encouraged to gather to write and send thank you cards to our Veterans, located at the Minnesota Veterans Home, on Monday, November 11.  Cards will be available in the Center lobby.  Students are also invited and welcome to attend a Veterans Day Program at the Luverne High School at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 11.

Pipestone Campus

Students are invited to a luncheon honoring Veterans on our Pipestone Campus at Noon on Monday, November 11, in Room 103.  A video tribute to Veterans will be shared during the meal also.

Worthington Campus 

Veterans Day Program in Student Commons at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 11.  Light refreshments will be served.
