To establish guidelines for the orderly use of all campus parking lots.

Policy:

Minnesota West Community & Technical College strives to provide adequate safe parking spaces for all students, faculty, staff and visitors.

Well lit, paved parking lots will be maintained at each campus.  The number of parking spaces will be determined by the student population, number of faculty/staff and average anticipated visitor parking.

Placement and number of ADA handicap parking spaces will be determined by code.

The Campus Dean may designate additional restricted parking spaces as appropriate.

Unauthorized parking by others not affiliated with the college or activities held on campus are prohibited.  Violation may result in the vehicle being towed at the owner’s expense.

With the exception of staff and students traveling on college related business, over-night parking without the express written consent of the Campus Dean is prohibited.  Overnight parking by students and staff related to college business or student activities is allowed in designated parking areas.  Violation may result in the vehicle being towed at the owner’s expense.
