Minnesota West Violation Sanctions

Minnesota West will will impose sanctions consistent with local, state, and federal laws.

Students who violate the policy on alcohol or other controlled substances, as detailed in the Student Handbook are subject to the following sanctions:

1. Referral for assessment or counseling.
2. Disciplinary warning, probation, suspension, and/or expulsion.
3. Restitution.
4. Denial of financial aid.

Employees who violate the policy on alcohol or other controlled substances, as detailed in the Employee Handbook are subject to disciplinary action up to and including suspension or termination of employment.
