Graduation

We look forward to celebrating our upcoming Graduates! Each spring, campuses hold commencement ceremonies. Students must apply for graduation to complete your program at Minnesota West. Please submit your Application for Graduation by April 1.

Before Graduation

Every student must apply for graduation, even if they do not intend to participate in the ceremony. Submitting a graduation application triggers the official review of your records, adds the graduation notation to your transcripts, and orders your degree, diploma, and/or certificate.
To ensure names are printed in the commencement program please submit your Application for Graduation by April 1.

Apply

You must successfully complete all program requirements with a minimum cumulative 2.0 grade point average in order to be considered for graduation from the College. You can review your progress toward graduation by accessing your Interactive Degree Audit Report (DARS) within your eServices account (choose Grades and Transcripts, then Degree Audit Report).

Graduation with Honors
A student will graduate "with honors" if the cumulative grade point average is between 3.5 and 3.74, and "with high honors" if the cumulative grade point average is 3.75 or greater.

If you borrowed from the Federal Student Loan program while enrolled at Minnesota West, you must receive exit counseling in your last semester of attendance.
