Transfer Pathway
How Transfer Pathways Work:
After completing your Transfer Pathway associate degree, the credits will transfer directly into the related bachelor's degree program at one of the 7 Minnesota State universities. You will gain your ‘junior year status’ and ensure you are on the correct path to meet specific admission requirements for their chosen program.
A student must still meet any special admission requirements for the program and is not guaranteed admission into the program itself.
Benefits of a Transfer Pathway:
- When students complete an associate degree through one of the Transfer Pathways, all 60 credits are guaranteed to transfer to a corresponding bachelor's degree program at any of the 7 Minnesota State universities.
- The curriculum for Transfer Pathways is specifically designed so that students complete courses in their associate degree that align directly with the first two years of the corresponding bachelor’s degree.
- Students can efficiently transfer credits to ensure you do not have to retake courses.
- Completing the first two years at Minnesota West can significantly reduce the overall cost of obtaining a bachelor’s degree.
