Rachael Evans Conquering Barriers

Meet Rachael Evans, Minnesota West student and also kicker for the Bluejay Football organization. Rachael hails from Godley, TX and is currently a sophomore at Minnesota West. In addition to academics and football, Evans has also played Volleyball and Softball here at Minnesota West.

Recently, Midco Sports Network featured Rachael on their November 3, 2015 episode entitled, Conquered Barriers. The episode details the foundation of Rachael’s football career, which began with soccer. Also detailed is how Rachael has conquering barriers in being a female in a male-dominated sport, working to earn respect from teammates and persevering through adversity. 

Minnesota West is proud to have Rachael as a student athlete and excited to see what the future holds for her as well all of those she has inspired!
