Powerline
The Powerline Technology program provides you with a challenging and rewarding career working outdoors. Installers construct and maintain electrical overhead and underground powerlines.
As a student, you receive training in an outdoor and indoor facility as well as in the classroom. You'll experience hands-on training in safety practices, setting poles, climbing, operating Powerline equipment and receive the opportunity to earn a class A commercial driver’s license.
Graduates of the Powerline program are in demand by city municipal departments, rural electric cooperatives, private companies, dispatchers, power plant maintenance, and powerline construction companies. The employment opportunities are excellent across the country, you can work and live anywhere, earning a competitive wage in this exciting and dynamic career.
