Curriculum Review


Minnesota West has a Curriculum Development Manual which outlines policies and processes for curriculum changes.

Curriculum for Minnesota West programs of study and courses is reviewed by faculty and administration throughout each year. The Academic Affairs and Standards Committee (AASC) is the college’s governing body for curriculum and program changes. Each campus also has a local curriculum committee that reviews and approves curriculum changes before the requests are sent to AASC for final review and approval.

Additionally, the college undergoes curriculum realignment and review. Examples of these types of process are noted below:
