Text Alerts

Minnesota West provides two optional text notification systems. Notification will be sent to the cell number and/or email address that you provide when you sign-up for the service. Cell phone requirements:

• Verify that your mobile phone is capable of receiving text messages.

• Review your cell phone contract for applicable text messaging charges; standard carrier charges apply.

Weather / Emergency Alerts

To receive campus closure alerts due to weather or some type of an emergency:
Sign-up for weather/emergency text alerts. 

Unsubscribe to weather/emergency alerts.

Non-emergency Messages

To receive text messages from the College regarding important information about registration, dates & deadlines, events, and other communications:

The college will continue to post closure and late start information to radio and television stations identified in Student Policy 4.4.
