Apply for Free — No Essay Required
Throughout October, all undergraduate application fees are waived at Minnesota State
colleges and universities. That means you can apply to one or more institutions without spending a dime—and without writing an essay.
It’s a stress-free way to start planning your future.
Visit Campuses During MEA Break
Special campus events are scheduled during MEA break (October 16–17), but you’re welcome
to visit anytime during the month. Whether you're exploring programs, meeting faculty, or just getting
a feel for campus life, Minnesota State Month is the perfect time to dive in.
Tuition Frozen Through Spring 2025
Minnesota State already offers the lowest undergraduate tuition in the state, and
that rate is locked in through Spring 2025. That means more value for your education—and
less financial pressure.
Scholarships That Launch Careers
Minnesota State institutions offer a wide range of scholarships, including Workforce Development Scholarships worth up to $7,500 over three years.
These are available for high-demand fields like:
- Education
- Public Safety
- Construction
- Advanced Manufacturing
- Agriculture
- Health Care
- Information Technology
- Transportation
A Message from the Chancellor
