To help students manage the often overwhelming cost of textbooks, our team has implemented several initiatives through our online bookstore.

  • Book Rental Program: For many courses, we have instituted a book rental program. This allows students to rent textbooks at a fraction of the cost of purchasing them outright, significantly reducing their overall expenses each semester.
  • Book Vouchers: We offer a system called book vouchers, which allows students to charge the cost of their textbooks against their financial aid. This ensures that students can obtain the necessary materials without having to pay out of pocket upfront, making the process of acquiring books more seamless and stress-free.
  • Cost-Conscious Book Selection: We work closely with faculty to encourage the selection of textbooks that are less costly. By choosing affordable options, including open educational resources (OER) and other budget-friendly alternatives, we aim to alleviate the financial burden on students while still providing high-quality educational materials.
  • Payment Plan Integration: To further assist students, we allow them to add the cost of their textbooks to their existing payment plans. This means that instead of paying for books all at once, students can spread out the cost over time, making it easier to manage their finances.
