Minnesota West Prepares to Celebrate Graduates Across Campuses

As the academic year comes to a close, Minnesota West Community and Technical College is preparing to celebrate the achievements of its graduates during commencement ceremonies scheduled for May. The events will bring together family members, friends, faculty, and staff to honor students who have completed degrees and certificates across a wide range of academic programs.
Excitement continues to build as graduation final preparations are underway. Commencement ceremonies will be held at multiple Minnesota West campus locations, reflecting the college’s regional reach and the diversity of its student body and academic offerings.
During the ceremonies, graduates will cross the stage by program, highlighting the depth of Minnesota West’s educational pathways. Students earning degrees and certificates—from technical and career programs to transfer-focused coursework—will be recognized for their commitment and academic accomplishments.
“Our graduates have remained focused on their goals, often while balancing work, family, and other responsibilities. We are immensely proud of their achievements and hope they will continue to invest their talents and skills in our regional communities,” said Dr. Terry Gaalswyk, president of Minnesota West Community and Technical College.
Commencement not only serves as a celebration of academic success, but also as a meaningful milestone for graduates as they reflect on their Minnesota West experience and look ahead to new opportunities. Whether entering the workforce or continuing their education, Minnesota West graduates leave prepared to make a positive impact in their careers and communities.
