The 2015-2016 season will mark the inaugural season as head coach of the Lady Jays for former Worthington High School and Worthington Community College Lady Jay star, Rosalie (Moz) Hayenga. She will take over for the legendary Mike Fury after 34 years at the helm of the Lady Jays. Under the direction of Coach Fury, she helped lead the Lady Jays to the 1992 State Championship, and is the all-time assist player, and is the 6th all-time leading scorer in Lady Jay basketball history. In addition to earning All-State and All-Region honors, she was named the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) National Player of the Year in 1992. She completed her collegiate playing career at Moorhead State University where she was named to the 1995 All American team and was also a 2012 Hall of Fame inductee.


Coach Hayenga previously served as the assistant coach for the Lady Jays for the last 11 seasons and before that was an Assistant Basketball Coach, Women’s Softball Coach, and instructor in the Sport & Recreation Management Program at the University of Minnesota, Crookston. She also was an assistant basketball coach at Moorhead State University. In addition to being the assistant Lady Jays basketball coach, Coach Hayenga also serves as Women's Athletic Director and instructor at Minnesota West.
