Minnesota West Foundation is asking you to make a donation now through November 17. Give to the Max day is a statewide effort to support nonprofits and schools across Minnesota.

At any one time, at least a third of community college students experience food insecurity. Believe it or not, hunger is at an all-time high on our campuses. In 2020, Minnesota West established food pantries to help students in need. These pantries exist on each of our campuses and have been stocked with non-perishable food items, diapers, and personal items with generous gifts from donors.  However, this is a continuous need. We all need a helping hand from time to time. Together, we can provide a solution.

In order to do this, we need your support. On Give to the MAX day, we need to raise $5,000 to purchase grocery items to keep our pantries full. We believe that everyone, regardless of their situation, should have the opportunity to choose and access food and basic needs items to support their nutrition and well-being. Any donations help our cause.

GiveMN launched Give to the Max Day in 2009 and it has become an annual tradition. Every year thousands of organizations raise money to improve the quality of life in Minnesota. More about GiveMN can be found here: https://www.givemn.org/.

Minnesota West Foundation is dedicated to providing financial support to the students of Minnesota West Community & Technical College. The Foundation, comprised of volunteer board members, is a vehicle for accepting private gifts and donations.
