Coming Fall 2027: The Dental Hygiene Program at Minnesota West Community & Technical College is currently pursuing initial accreditation and is expected to begin enrolling students in Fall 2027. Accreditation and program implementation are subject to approval processes and timelines.
Submit Comments about a Program
The Dental Hygiene Program at Minnesota West Community and Technical College, currently pursuing initial accreditation, will host representatives from the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) for an on-site accreditation review on October 22-23, 2026.
The Commission provides an opportunity for third-party comment with respect to the program scheduled for review. Comments must be signed, and signatures will be removed from comments prior to forwarding them to the program. Comments must pertain only to the standards for the particular program or policies and procedures used in the Commission’s accreditation process. Third-party comments are due in the Commission’s office no later than 60 days prior to the site visit, which would be August 23rd, 2026.
A copy of the appropriate accreditation standards and/or the Commission’s policy on third-party comments may be obtained by contacting the Commission by calling 1-800-232-6108 or by email.
Individuals who are interested in submitting third party comments, may contact the Commission office for submission guidance. Third party comments should be emailed to the appropriate Commission staff; comments should not be sent to the Commission office via the US Postal Service.
