Peace Officer Program Spotlight: Victimology Advocacy Infographic Project
As part of the Peace Officer Program, students in the Victimology course explore the experiences of victims and the vital role of Victims’ Rights in the justice system. To deepen their understanding and apply what they've learned, students created Advocacy Infographics—an impactful project that blends communication skills with meaningful community outreach.
Students selected Victimology topics that resonated personally and socially, transforming their research into compelling visual infographics. These projects served as advocacy tools, designed to raise awareness, educate the public, and promote positive change.
Purpose & Impact Communication is a cornerstone of effective policing. This project challenged students to convey complex issues in a clear, visual format—enhancing their ability to inform and inspire. The creative process encouraged active participation, empathy, and a deeper connection to the communities they serve.
These infographics reflect the insight and spirit of our future Peace Officers.
