Minnesota West and Sanford Health Host Free Nursing & OTA Camp for High School Students
Worthington, MN — Minnesota West, in partnership with Sanford Health, is inviting high school students to explore careers in healthcare at its upcoming Nursing & Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Camp. This free, hands-on event will take place on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and is open to high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
Dual Campus Experience Participants will split their time between two dynamic locations:
- Sanford Worthington Medical Center — 1018 6th Ave, Worthington, MN
- Minnesota West Worthington Campus — 1450 Collegeway, Worthington, MN
Students will engage in interactive activities designed to simulate real-world healthcare scenarios. From practicing basic nursing skills to exploring the role of occupational therapy assistants, students will gain valuable insight into these high-demand professions. Faculty and healthcare professionals will be on hand to guide students through demonstrations, answer questions, and share their experiences.
Connect with professionals and peers who share similar interests, and the cost is absolutely free! Lunch and materials will be provided.
