Hands-On Experience for Future Students
Starting at 9 AM, students interested in careers in Diesel Technology, Dental Assisting, Electrical Work, Powerline Technology, and Solar & Wind Energy Technology can participate in program shadowing. This includes interactive, hands-on activities and an in-depth campus tour to get a real feel for these dynamic fields.
Community Fun in the Afternoon & Evening
In the afternoon and evening, the event opens up to the broader community with a burger and brat feed and an exciting raffle fundraiser. It’s a great way to connect, learn about technical careers, and support the next generation of skilled professionals.

What started in 1997 as a small initiative by Diesel Mechanic program students to raise funds for scholarships and equipment has grown into a highly anticipated annual event. Each year, students work with local dealerships to showcase cutting-edge equipment, host a delicious burger feed, and organize a fundraising raffle. The Xtravaganza has become a staple in the community, drawing loyal supporters and new visitors alike.
Thanks to our strong industry partnerships and community support, the event continues to expand, highlighting the growing demand for skilled trades and the rewarding career opportunities in these fields.
