Automotive Technician Program Achieves ASE Midpoint Compliance Review Approval
Jackson, MN – Minnesota West Community and Technical College is pleased to announce that its Automotive Technician program has successfully passed the midpoint compliance review conducted by the ASE Education Foundation. The ASE Education Foundation is a non-profit organization that evaluates and accredits entry-level automotive technology education programs against industry standards. It also fosters career-readiness by creating partnerships with local employers, providing rigorous, standards-based education, and offering workplace experience and mentorship opportunities for students.
“This is an exciting milestone for our program,” said Doug Kleeberger, Automotive Technology Instructor at Minnesota West. “It shows the hard work of our students and the dedication of our team. Passing this review motivates us to keep providing top-quality training and preparing students for success in the automotive industry.”
The Automotive Technician program at Minnesota West continues to meet the standards set by the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Program, underscoring its ongoing commitment to excellence and industry-leading practices in automotive technician education.
