Minnesota West believes providing opportunities for students to interact and grow outside the classroom is an important aspect of delivering a well-rounded education. To that end, each of our campuses offers opportunities to encourage an active and social lifestyle while attending college. These include participating in student senate, numerous clubs, music ensembles, theater productions, and organizations, such as Business Professionals of America and Phi Theta Kappa.

Athletics are also an important part of student life at Minnesota West. We are a member of the Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) and the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). Our intercollegiate teams compete in a variety of sports, including baseball, basketball, football, golf, softball, volleyball, and wrestling. We also offer a number of intramural athletic opportunities, including men's and women's club soccer, which begin for the first time in fall 2016.
