Why Choose Minnesota West?

The Luverne Center offers small class sizes and superior labs and classrooms. Having been a real hospital facility our lab spaces are unique in that they did not have to be created. You will be practicing in real life labs, surgical rooms, exam rooms, etc.

Minnesota West is a community and technical college with 5 campuses and 2 learning centers. Our students can participate in clubs and extra curricular activites on any of our campuses which gives opportunities for student involvement that you would not normally find at a “tech” school. For example, students at the Luverne Center can participate in athletics and theatre productions on our Worthington campus.  One of our Radiologic Technology students participated in volleyball, basketball and was selected as Homecoming Queen!   The Luverne Center also has an active Student Senate that plans lots of food and fun throughout the year,
