Roos Named Worthington Interim Dean

Minnesota West Community & Technical College is pleased to announce that Dan Roos has accepted the position of Interim Campus Dean at the Worthington Campus for the 2015-2016 academic year.

Dan has served as a faculty member at Minnesota West for the past 31 years. He has served in most all of the faculty leadership positions at the college as well as many ad hoc committees over his tenure. He has served as leader in accreditation as well as many other areas beyond his English class room. Dan will continue his work on Higher Learning Commission Accreditation while serving as the Interim Campus Dean. In 2013, Dan was recognized by the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities as an Outstanding Educator in Excellence in Teaching.

Jeff Williamson, Minnesota West Provost comments, “Dan's professionalism and dedication to the college and its students are deep and wide. He renders superior leadership to faculty and the college, which is so important in today’s dynamic higher educational environment.”
