Gordon Accepted to Leadership Program

Dr. Dawn Gordon, Minnesota West Dean of Nursing, has been accepted into the 2016 Executive Leadership in Nursing Education and Practice Program. This program is part of the National League of Nursing (NLN) Leadership Institute in the Center for Transformational Leadership. The leadership program focuses on leadership development for nurse educators who wish to be re-energized and want to reframe how they think about leadership and themselves as leaders. 

This year-long program will provide an opportunity for Dr. Gordon to be engaged with peers and experts to examine issues related to leadership concepts and organizational systems.

Dr. Gordon will be represented at the 2016 NLN Leadership Conference, in Atlanta GA, the Intensive Leadership Forum in Washington D.C. and the NLN Education Summit in Orlando, FL. Gordon also received a grant to support the tuition from the Minnesota AD/PN Directors Group.
