Minnesota West is searching for the executive position of Vice President of Finance and Facilities (VPFF). We invite applications of candidates with qualifications that include but are not limited to: must hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management, Public Administration, related field, or related licensing. A master’s degree or MBA, as well as experience in public sector accounting, is preferred.

As the chief financial officer for the College, the Vice President of Finance and Facilities provides vision, leadership, and strategic direction for financial planning and fiscal operations, and oversight of capital construction aligned with the strategic goals of the college. The VPFF is a strategic thinker who reports directly to the President of the College and works collaboratively with all departments within the College. As a senior leader of the college, this position exercises significant discretion and provides critical input to the president on key college issues and opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a skill set that demonstrates inclusiveness and create an atmosphere of consultation, trust, and respect in which all can succeed. The VPFF leader will have the ability to anchor all decisions on programs and services around “what’s best for students”.
