After a long week of waiting for the DIII Selection Show, the Lady Jays (27-4) were excited to earn the #5 seed as the second-selected, At-Large team to play in the NJCAA DIII Women's Basketball National Championship.

Minnesota West will hold a reception and official send-off starting at the Worthington Campus Commons Area on March 14 at 9 am. Following the reception, the bus will leave the North Minnesota West parking lot at 10 am for a send-off around town.

Send-Off Bus Route: Turn right on Collegeway and proceed to West Lake Avenue. Turn right on West Lake Avenue and travel around the lake until the bus gets to 2nd Avenue. Traveling up 2nd Avenue and turn left onto 10th Street going 3 blocks to turn right onto 5th Avenue and continue until it turns into Humiston and follows straight to I-90. Map is provided below.

The tournament will be held at the Rochester Regional Events Center in Minnesota. Minnesota West's first game will take place on Wednesday, March 15, at 2 pm CT against Northampton Spartans (20-6).

The bracket consists of twelve teams that will compete for the national championship, with the top four teams earning a first-round bye. Nine teams were automatic qualifiers, and Minnesota West was 1 of 3 At-Large bids selected. All games in the tournament are available to watch on the NJCAA Network. Lady Jays will play 4 games in 4 days.

Adult tickets for a full tournament pass are $30, college students $20; a daily pass of $12 for adults, and $8 for college students. Teams are allowed a practice session at the Rochester Regional Sports Center, March 13-14. Along with a coach's meeting and a Tournament Banquet. Wednesday, March 15, starts the competition days with the final Championship Game on Saturday, March 18. Following the Championship Game, an awards ceremony will commence.
