Paying for College

Paying for an education is a major concern for future students. Rest assured, an education at Minnesota West is a great value. Not only do we work hard to keep our tuition affordable (tuition is trending down since the 2012-2013 academic year), but we offer small class sizes, personalized attention, and a focus on hands-on learning you won’t find at larger, more expensive schools.

Don’t let financial concerns prevent you from achieving your dreams. Students who complete a technical program or transferable associate of arts degree at Minnesota West will achieve substantial savings when compared to students who pursue a traditional track at a four-year institution.

We offer a variety of financial aid, scholarships, and payment plans to students who qualify.

Scholarships

Minnesota West has two scholarship application windows:

January 1 - April 1: This application window represents a majority of scholarships available for the fall semester of the following year for new and returning students.
September 1 - November 1: A smaller set of scholarship opportunities are available for the spring semester for both new and returning students.
