Student Basic Needs Resources
Minnesota West Community and Technical College is committed to providing exceptional educational opportunities to the communities it serves. We acknowledge basic needs such as nutrition, safe housing, and transportation can have a direct impact on the well-being and success of our students. To assist our community in meeting these needs, we’ve compiled the resources below. The information will be updated ongoing.
You don’t need to navigate this alone. The Basic Needs Coordinator, Maya Bledsoe, is available to meet with students who need assistance with basic needs issues. The Mental Health and Wellness Specialist, Kathy Gruis, is also available to meet with students who need assistance.
