ELWT.1170 - Wind Energy OSHA Standards & Climbing Lab (2)
Provides students with information regarding basic safety principles in the Wind Energy industry. A brief overview of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will be discussed. The primary focus will be on OSHA regulations and standards that pertain to the construction and maintenance of wind turbines and the energy industry to include climb safety. Concurrent enrollment with ELWT 1160.
