Minnesota West Scholarships: Presidential
Minnesota West is committed to academic excellence and will award Presidential Scholarships annually. This is our most prestigious scholarship. Recipients will receive accolades and public recognition.
The Presidential Scholarship will be awarded to first-time Minnesota West students who have graduated from high school within three years of the scholarship application. Recipients will receive a full-tuition renewable scholarship for up to a maximum 16 credits per semester for four semesters. Only students with an ACT composite score of 28 or above shall be eligible.
Presidential Scholarship recipients are required to serve as a Minnesota West Presidential Student Ambassador.
Students must register for a minimum of 12 credits per semester. Scholarships are awarded for Fall and Spring semesters only.
To apply for the Presidential Scholarship:
First complete an application for admission. You must have an application to Minnesota West on file to be considered for a scholarship.
All application materials must be submitted by August 10. Application materials include:
- Completed Minnesota West Scholarship application (print copy here or see President's Office for a copy).
- Official copy of your high school transcript that includes your ACT composite score recorded on the transcript.
The student is responsible for completing and submitting all scholarship application materials.
