How Do I....?

Instructions to:  Pay your Tuition with a Credit/Debit Card or eCheck

Go to: Your e-Services Student Account.  
You will need your StarID and password.


  1. Login.

  2. The Dashboard is your student account home page. Be sure to review any Action Items that you have listed.

  3. Select: Bills and Payment (left Menu).

  4. Select: Make a Payment.

    Note: Your information will include not just amounts from Minnesota West but also amounts you may have with other Minnesota State Colleges and Universities.

  5. To make a payment, choose Payment Toward Specific Institution Balances OR Payment Toward Specific Charges.

  6. On the Make A Payment on Account screen, choose to Pay Account Balance OR enter an amount in Pay Other Amount. Then press the "Continue" button.

  7. On the Confirm Payment on Account screen:  Select Pay by e-Check OR Pay by Credit/Debit Card.  Then press the "Pay Now" button.

  8. You are now on the USBank Payment website and have been automatically logged off your Minnesota West student account.

  9. Follow instructions for making a payment.

  10. Using credit/debit method: enter your credit/debit card information and complete the screens as presented.

    Using eCheck method: enter your account information. You will need to know your bank account and routing numbers.

  11. Print a copy for your records after you receive a confirmation number.

  12. Wait a few minutes until your payment is reflected on your student account.

    Debit and eCheck payment amounts will be drawn from your bank the following day. Credit card charges will be detailed on your next credit card statement.
