Tuition Freeze

No tuition increase for three years!

That’s right. Tuition will remain the same for the next three years (2013 - 2016), making your degree even more affordable. In fact, all Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) are freezing tuition to provide you with the continued opportunity to earn an affordable degree while keeping college debt levels as low as possible.

At MnSCU colleges (including Minnesota West), the tuition freeze that has been in place since 2013 will decrease by one percent for the 2016-17 academic year. At MnSCU universities, average annual undergraduate tuition for a full-time student increased during the 2015-16 academic year by $233 (the first increase in three years) and will remain frozen at that level for the 2016-17 academic year.

Compare the savings

Average full-time tuition and fees at private trade schools is 222% higher than MnSCU 2-year technical and community colleges.
