Foundation Honors Bank

The Minnesota West Foundation proudly honors the Granite Falls Bank for their long standing support of both the foundation and the Granite Falls Campus of Minnesota West Community & Technical College.  “Granite Falls Bank has been an outstanding benefactor through their financial contributions to the Minnesota West Foundation and by hiring a number of Minnesota West graduates at their banks,” said Minnesota West Foundation Director Jim Smalley, “It is truly an honor to have such a terrific community partner.”  John Virnig, President of Granite Falls Bank, said “We believe Minnesota West Community & Technical College is a vital part of our community and this region.  We feel fortunate to be able to support them in fulfilling their mission of providing educational opportunities to so many in this area.  We are also happy to have benefited from employing several of their graduates.”

The Minnesota West Foundation is a private, nonprofit organization which believes in affordable and accessible educational opportunities for students.  Because of this belief and commitment to education, the Minnesota West Foundation provides funding for scholarships and development opportunities for the students and staff at Minnesota West Community & Technical College.  Included in these donations are donations of equipment or supplies which support programs or bequests which can make sizable impact on the students at Minnesota West Community & Technical College.
