EMS Receives Certification Renewal

Minnesota West Community and Technical College is pleased to announce that the Minnesota Emergency Medical Services Regulatory Board approved the renewal for the Emergency Medical Services Education Program. The certification authorizes Minnesota West to continue providing the Emergency Medical Responder, Emergency Medical Responder Refresher, the Emergency Medical Technician, Emergency Medical Technician Refresher and EMT National Continued Competency Requirement Components. Certification for American Heart Association CPR/AED/First Aid Certification and a variety of continuing education programs specific to EMS professionals are provided by our team of qualified and experience instructors. 

The EMS Education Program delivers the specialized skills training and education to nearly 450 individuals throughout the Minnesota West 19 county service area serving all of Southwest Minnesota. Dawn Regnier, Minnesota West Director of Customized Training stated that, “Minnesota West is proud of our highly skilled, credentialed instructional team whose passion and dedication for teaching excellence is the cornerstone of the program success.”  Minnesota West has delivered the EMS Education Program for over 25 years and plans to continue to be a service provider serving Southwest Minnesota.
