Canby New Hires

The Canby Campus of Minnesota West Community & Technical College is pleased to welcome two new employees to their team. Ryan Olson has been hired as a General Maintenance Worker and Deb Full as the Campus Resource Specialist.

Ryan and his wife Tawny reside in Canby along with their three children: Trevor, Lauren, and Carlie. Ryan brings to this position a vast amount of experience in many different areas from his past 15 years of employment with SMI and Anhalt Plumbing and Heating.


Ryan attended the Pipestone Campus and earned his diploma in Plumbing and HVAC.

As a native of Canby, MN, Deb grew up working at Canby Corral Drive-Inn which was family owned.  She is married to Doug Full and has four daughters, three sons-in-law and six grandchildren.


Deb graduated from Canby High School, attended Pipestone Vocational School, then Southwest State University and National American University working towards Business Management degree. Deb worked at the Canby High School for over 20 years in various positions including: high school head cook, special needs tutor, office assistant, counseling department assistant, and student council advisor. Deb worked in human resources in the Wind industry for 5 years, then as an Employment Staffing Specialist/Recruiter and most recently as an Office/Human Resources Manager for a Non-profit agency. 


She owns and operates Deb Full and Crew Catering and is a Member and Trustee of Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary and member of Society for Human Resource management.
