Program Features 

National Recognition                   Program identified by the National Fluid Power Education Foundation as a key school in the United States.

  

Student Awards                              Granite Falls students consistently place high in the state Fluid Power Skills competition, taking 13 out of 27 top places in the past nine years. 

                                                                        

Job Opportunities                          Job opportunities far exceed available graduates.  Approximately 300 jobs last year with a starting pay range from $24,000 to $42,000 per year, depending on the location and responsibilities.

  

Scholarships                                   During the past year scholarships valued at approximately $11,000 were awarded to first and second year students. (see attached).  You may qualify for up $2,250 of Fluid Power Scholarships when you start in the Fall of your first year. 

  

Quality Instructors                         Certified Fluid Power Specialists – instructors honored with the FLUID POWER EDUCATION DISTINGUISHED ACHIEVEMENT AWARD by the Fluid Power Society.

 

Equipment/Facilities                      Well equipped lab the meets the  needs of industry.                                                                                          

Tools                                                  Quality tools available for your use in the lab.   (NO Requirement to purchase tools).

 

Transfer Degree                              After completing the Associate of Applied Science degree, students may be able transfer to one of the articulated universities to earn a Bachelor of Applied Science degree or 2+2 degree.  See transfer agreement.
