Services Offered
The Disability Services office and the Library and Academic Resouce Center (LARC) work with students with disabilities and college officials to resolve questions of reasonable accommodation and other issues related to the college’s compliance with disability laws.
Based on student need and instructor/student/disabliity staff consultation, the following services may be provided:

Adaptive Equipment

Alternative Testing: (You must complete the appropriate form)
Extended time on tests.
Individually read tests.
Taped/Recorded tests.
Sign language interpreters to interpret test instructions, etc.
Room with fewer distractions. -
Early Registration

Faculty Assistance:
Concerning accommodation of disabilities in the classroom, and/or lab, testing situations etc.
Disability Awareness information for faculty and staff. -
Meeting/Program/Event Accessibility

Note Taking

Sign Language/Oral Interpreting

Support Services:
Student support for coping in college.
Orientation to buildings: elevators, accessible routes, restrooms, automatic doors, etc.
Referrals to other appropriate support services. -
Taped Textbooks:
Through National Recording Service (RFB).
Tape players are available in the Academic Success Center.
