The Worthington Campus of Minnesota West is located on 63 acres near the shore of Lake Okabena.

Credits earned at Minnesota West meet the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum and are recognized by all state universities in Minnesota, as well as those in South Dakota and other states. Minnesota West’s Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees easily transfer, providing area students the chance to save thousands of dollars in tuition as well as room/board.

Completing the first two years of coursework at a community college, rather than in a four-year institution, allows students to work side by side with instructors in a small group setting where personal attention is the norm.

The Worthington Campus also offers students the chance to become involved in student life activities ranging from intercollegiate athletics to the theater stage. Most importantly, Minnesota West puts students first in providing academic support services. The College prides itself in maintaining a low student to faculty ratio ensuring a learning environment that focuses on student learning needs.

In 2013, the College purchased the former Worthington Fire Hall and created the The Center for Career Education offering technical classes.
