BOOK VOUCHER DATES FOR 20010-2011 SCHOOL YEAR
FALL SEMESTER – August 9 through August 27, 2010
SPRING SEMESTER – December 27, 2010 through January 14, 2011
The cost of books has been in the spotlight across the nation for the past few years. Minnesota West has responded with several money saving opportunities for students including instituting a book rental program for several courses, allowing students to charge books against their financial aid in a process we call book vouchers and faculty have joined the effort by choosing books that are less costly. In an effort to continue to address the cost of eduction for students, from August 9th through August 27th Minnesota West will also be offering all books & supplies at a 5% discount (excluding rental books & kits). Likewise, all Minnesota West imprinted items will be sold at a 25% discount (excluding uniforms).

Campus bookstores are operated for the convenience of students, faculty and staff. In addition to books and required supplies, the bookstores carry a variety of clothing and gift items as well as office supplies.
Students dropping courses will be permitted to return texts for a full refund through the 5th day of the semester. Students must show the cash register receipt and texts must be in perfect, unmarked condition. Texts in shrink wrap cannot be opened. Study guides and solution manuals are not returnable.
All bookstores have extended hours the first week of each semester.
Granite Falls students have the opportunity to purchase books on the Granite Falls campus beginning two weeks before the term begins and through the first two weeks of the term. Outside of this timeframe, Granite Falls students can order books online or through a cooperative arrangement with the Canby campus.
