One-on-one advising and registration, and orientation is a great time to sign up for classes and learn about our college resources: student life, tutoring, student services, basic needs, financial aid and so much more.
New Students:
Step 1.
Schedule a one-on-one Advising and Registration appointment. In-person, Zoom, and phone appointments are all available.
Step 2. Orientation
All new students must complete an orientation. Orientation is crucial to your success and is an opportunity to learn about general college information, resources, policies, upcoming deadlines, and many other common questions.
Completing New Student Orientation is easy, online, and can be done anytime from anywhere.

What to Expect During Your One-on-One Advisor Appointment
We will work together to:
- Review your application status.
- Review test scores (if any) and ensure correct course placement.
- Discuss program information as well as assist in class registration.
- Discuss overall and educational goals along with resources you may need along the way.
- Complete any paperwork or forms that you may be missing as well as answer any questions you may have.
