Application Instructions

PLEASE READ the following NOTICES and application STEPS first!

NON-DEGREE seeking students apply here.

Notices

  • You may apply to any Minnesota West campus or site using the online application system.
  • Students who plan to attend sites or the virtual online college need to identify a home campus. Home campuses for sites and online are listed below.

    • Fairmont applicants should apply via Jackson Campus

    • Luverne applicants should apply via the Pipestone Campus

    • Redwood Falls applicants should apply via Granite Falls Campus

    • Distance Delivery Nursing applicants should apply via the Worthington Campus

    • MINNESOTA WEST VIRTUAL/ONLINE STUDENTS - Apply to Virtual/Online location NOT a campus location
  • This online application is NOT available for international students. Please visit the international student admissions section.
  • Login to your account periodically to check the status of your application. You should receive a letter from Minnesota West within two weeks of your application submission.

Step One

Step Two

Complete and submit the online application.  Select a major on the screen titled "Admissions Information".  If you choose non-degree seeking as your major, you will not be eligible to receive financial aid.

Step Three

Application Fee: All applicants are required to pay a $20.00 application fee. Upon completion of your online application you will be asked if you would like to pay your application fee online. This is a convenient and safe way to speed up the acceptance process. If you attended Minnesota West before and had previously paid the application fee you are not required to do so again.

Step Four

Send an official high school and all college transcripts to the campus or site you plan to attend.
